I am an editor, copy editor and writer located in Toronto, Ont. I bring a natural flair for language, excellent organizational skills and careful attention to detail to each project I work on – whether it's a one-paragraph positioning statement or a glossy fashion magazine.

I began my career as a copy editor at  The Coast, Halifax's weekly independent newspaper, and then moved to Toronto to work for Canadian Living Magazine. During my time there, I worked my way up the masthead to the position of senior editor, gaining substantive editing skills and experience along the way.

My editorial work at Canadian Living dovetailed with many of my personal interests, which led me to develop my skills as a recipe editor and a craft editor. If you are developing a cookbook, a collection of knitting patterns or a DIY book, I can help you achieve a consistent style and ensure that your instructions are as compelling as the photographs of your finished projects.

As a freelance editor, copy editor and writer, I have worked for FLARE Magazine and the MaRS Discovery District, as well as a range of private clients. If you need feedback on how to structure a report, want someone to review your resumé with a fine-toothed comb, or need someone to write an exciting brochure for your new business venture, I can help.
